Every Friday night Wage House presents an hour-long improv show featuring some of the area’s top improvisers and comedians. Friday night shows start at 8pm but be sure to arrive a little early to enjoy some drinks from our bar. Follow us on social media to stay informed of any special events.

Our next Level 1 class begins on Wednesday, January 9th and runs through February 27th
Here is where it all starts! This 8-week class is designed to teach you the core concepts of improv including agreement, pattern and basic scene work. Students will learn how to work from the top of their intelligence to make choices that will become the building blocks of great scenes. Within a highly supportive and positive environment, students will explore and practice the core skills of improvisation. At Wage House, we strongly believe anyone can improvise, so this class is for everyone! Learn the fundamentals of improv and practice getting up on stage. Improv is great for anyone wanting to be a better performer, have more communication tools, work on public speaking, or just have fun! At the end of the class, you and your classmates will perform as a team in your very own show.
This course runs for 8 weeks, and each class is 3 hours long.
Please be advised this class will include some light to moderate physical activity. Participants must be at least 16 years old.

Wage House is delighted to present our Level 3 Student Showcase!! These students have recently completed our Level 3 class and are ready to show off their amazing improv skills! Come support our wonderful students as they take the stage! Enjoy the night with a drink from our bar while laughing at our hilarious students as they create a show based on audience suggestions!
And don’t miss Improv Jones! They’re Rhode Island’s longest running improv troupe (since 1992 y’all!) performing monthly at AS220. They’re appearing on our stage for one night only and this local favorite is not one to be missed!

Kristina has been a performer at ImprovBoston’s Harold Night since 2015, teaches long-form improv at the ImprovBoston Comedy School and is also a member of the team Dangerfield. Kristina believes the most important elements of great improv are active listening and commitment to your character. In this workshop, we’ll explore a variety of ways to make even the strangest characters believable, making it easier for you to commit harder and create a stronger scene.
*Some prior improv experience required (completion of L1 or higher at Wage House or another training program). Some light to moderate physical activity is involved.

They were the first team to perform on the Wage House stage and no matter if you’re seeing them for the first time or the 20th this is a night you won’t want to miss! You never know what worlds they will create or characters they will breathe life into from a flirty squirrel to soldiers taking a day off from battle to a daughter reluctantly joining her mother’s dysfunctional Book Club. Kate & Casey keeps you on the edge of your seat!
Them’s Fightin’ Nerds is Wage House’s first ever house team, comprised of students who have graduated from our improv training program! Their monthly show has quickly become an audience favorite and it’s no surprise! Their collective brains are razor sharp and primed to deliver big laughs!

She can be heard every weekday on Lite Rock 105 and Saturday nights with her Wicked Awesome 80’s Show. Amy will be joining us onstage as our guest monologist for the evening, providing personal stories from her life that will provide inspiration for the improvised scenes to follow!

Payment can be made on the night of with cash or major credit card although CASH payment is preferred and appreciated.
IMPORTANT: Doors open at 7:00pm for people to enjoy our bar and refreshments. Please claim your reservation at the box office by 7:50pm the night of the performance. Reservations will be released after 7:50pm to accommodate walk up business. In other words, you will no longer be guaranteed a seat if you arrive later than 7:50pm.
